Who you are buying from

First Layer Robotics Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. You can reach us at hello@firstlayerrobotics.com with any question about an order.

Products and pricing

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) and exclude VAT and shipping, which are calculated at checkout. We take reasonable care to describe and price products accurately; if we discover a material error in the price or description of something you have ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund.

Pre-orders

Some products are offered on a pre-order basis ahead of dispatch. For a pre-order:

• Payment is taken in full at the time you place the order.
• We dispatch from the date shown on the product and at checkout. That date is our current best estimate; if it changes materially we will let you know and you may cancel for a full refund.
• You can cancel a pre-order and receive a full refund at any time before it is dispatched — just email us.

Your order and our acceptance

Placing an order and completing payment is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil an order (for example an item is unavailable), we will tell you and refund any payment taken in full.

Payment

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle order and payment data.

Delivery

We ship tracked from the United Kingdom to the countries listed at checkout. Shipping cost and delivery estimates are shown before you pay. Any import duties or taxes on international orders are your responsibility. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Warranty and your legal rights

Every board is covered for 12 months against manufacturing defects. This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which require goods to be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. Our products are development hardware intended for integration by technically competent users; please follow the data sheet’s operating envelope and safety guidance.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

How to cancel, return an item and get a refund — including your statutory 14-day cancellation right — is set out in our Returns & Refunds policy.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Subject to that, and to your statutory rights, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Governing law
